The trader’s handbook

Dealership & car rentals

The dealership combines vehicle trading with timed rental jobs. Catalogue earnings are a reference; your actual payment comes from the rental offer you accept.

Where cars come from

Cars are not produced in factories. The dealership's shared auction list refreshes every 4 hours with 10 vehicles. All players share the list, and the first buyer gets the car. Vehicles arrive with different mileage, prices and rarity.

You can also browse player listings, compare models and mileage, and negotiate. Some vehicles use game dollars; certain special models trade in diamonds.

Dealer licences and fleet capacity

You start with capacity for 3 cars. A level-one dealer licence raises this to 6, and level two to 12. Each level costs $50,000,000 or 500 diamonds.

Plan your available spaces and vehicle budget together before upgrading. Buying a licence does not include a car.

Rental offers and actual earnings

Finding a new customer costs $100 and generates an offer for one suitable idle car. You cannot search while an offer is pending. Offers must be accepted within 30 minutes.

A normal offer pays 90–100% of the catalogue rate per minute. Jobs generally last 50–500 minutes, limited by the car's remaining lifespan. On the weekly demand day, most offers may receive a 30% uplift.

Review the duration, total payment and mileage use before accepting. Payment arrives when the job finishes; simply owning a car does not create continuous rental income.

How to read the hourly figure

The hourly catalogue figure is 60 times the catalogue rate per minute. A model listed at $30/minute has an hourly reference of $1,800; a normal 60-minute offer pays approximately $1,620–$1,800 before other effects.

The accepted offer, demand events and applicable VIP benefits can change the payout. Completed rental income also creates collection-tax debt. The catalogue value is therefore not a guarantee of net profit.

Mileage, selling and taxes

Accepted rental jobs consume 10 km per minute. A car is scrapped when it reaches 500,000 km. When buying used cars, consider remaining mileage as well as price.

A car listed for sale cannot be sent on a rental job. Player-to-player vehicle sales carry a 20% tax. Diamond-denominated vehicles remain in the diamond economy and do not offer dollar instalments.

Vehicle negotiation and financing

For dollar-denominated cars, sellers can enable 2–3 instalments at licence level one and 2–6 at level two. Buyers include the price and an eligible instalment count in their offer.

Financed sales use a bank loan: interest starts at 15% for two instalments and rises by two percentage points for each additional instalment, up to six. The seller is paid when the sale completes; the buyer repays the bank on schedule.
